I have a turboslide and it works with Seydel steel reeds. And yes, the reeds are magnetic.

Re: Augmented and Diminished

I stumble on this: https://www.harmonicaacademy.com/categories/20081221 written by Brendan himself! Blows always lower then draws which im already used to from PC, PB and is expressive if you like draw bends but because of many double draw bends (jump from one bend directly to another)in certain key...

It sounds interesting enough to order one. Only 3 phrases to learn t...

Augmented and Diminished

Advantages and considerations with augmented and diminished tunings compaired to more common tunings? Usefulness in different music styles? There is much more to playing and experience different tunings then looking at a chart of the tunings.

Re: Health concerns regarding materials in harmonicas?

Glue ex. some superglues are dangerous to inhale but well dryed become crystallized and harmless. I have worked in color industries some years ago where they make UV colors. The UV...

Brendan..... I read a while back that you was trying a new valve material. Was it good or not to your satisfaction?

Re: Tuning chromatic

Thanks for all tips :D I have used that battery engraver for a long time now, small, very handy and easy to operate. I use powerchromatic so i only use valves on one side which make it easier. Only need to find a longer and better reed lifter or simply use the battery engraver without any support. T...

Re: Tuning chromatic

Crawford....this was also my approach but was curious if there was anyone else who had a different method. Have tuned diatonic several years but are new to chromatic. A chromatic also have 2 reeds in each chamber and valves which differs from standard diatonic.
