Thank you Brenden...no one can expect any instrument to hold up to that kind of playing forever....makes me feel better when I know I have access to proper parts

I use shellac....all natural once the carrier agents dry and not much if any smell or taste immediately after drying...I bake mine on super low heat on a cookie sheet with aluminum foil for a very little bit to cure the last coat....I have also heard a woman's hair dryer on even heat will do this......

MM tuning is simply equal temperament or "ET" I believe...I play a few harps that are tuned that way...for myself it matters what style of music I want from the harp itself....be careful how much you pay to have a tuning converted....I'm certain you could get an ET tuning for much less....just frien...

Playing the Paddy Richter 10 or 13 hole

Hello I was curious are reeds available for repairs to purchase? I usually repair my own harps after warranty...this music seems very intense and any harp would wear over time....trying to decide between straight Paddy tuned Richter and the Lucky 13 set....my thanks to anyone with answers
