Re: Power Chromatic

Tyler is right. The double benefit of PowerChromatic is that there are no outside valves to stick, and all draw notes bend a semitone.

Re: Rampless Chromatic Comb

Several years ago I asked Chris Reynolds to make me a quite radical chrom comb without any transition between the slider and the chambers (see photos). The slide and backplate provide a transition by themselves. It works well.

Re: Lucky 13 in PowerBender, PowerDraw & Paddy Richter

Good news: I finally have a delivery date for the special-tuned Lucky 13s in PowerBender, PowerDraw and Paddy Richter. It's 6th July to my business partner Roland in Shanghai, so we can start shipping in July. I've shot the intro video on my travels in California, just editing it now, and done the w...

Re: Controllable Note Bending on MIDI Harmonicas - What are the Options?

I'm practicing with my mini pitchbender prototype and having fun emulating bends in various tunings. Re: Power Chromatic

Glad you're liking Power Chromatic tuning. I'm not quite clear why or how you're mixing it with BeBop though? I'd suggest keeping the two tunings on different harmonicas. Half-valving PowerChromatic is simple: pull all the valves off the outside and leave all valves on the inside. Reducing the blow ...

Re: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Heh heh... Let me explain. There might seem to be a lull in proceedings, but its a bit like the swan: not much happening above the surface but plenty of paddling beneath. There are some exciting new designs waiting in the wings that I'm itching to release, but I decided to step back and do a complet...

Yes, the separate controller (whatever it is) mounts on the DM48 with its own USB lead.
