Re: HARMONICA and BUTTON-BOX: New Album with Tim Edey

Not a bad idea, choose my personal favourite tracks and put them all together. I'll think about it!

Re: Discontinued

Hi Simon, the UniBender will be the last of the TwinDiatonics to be released, I still need to test it a bit more, But within two weeks it should be ready to release. It could be configured in Solo tuning from Seydel. To be honest I don't have up-to-date knowledge of the NZ harmonica scene. There is ...

Re: The OctaHarp is Released

Thanks Ed - looking forward tpo hearing what you do with these things. Yes, you can put Special 20 reedplates on the Hohner PowerCombs, Apologies for the delay, the ordering options for the MiniChrom in particular are very complex! However we have the page 90% done and it should be up tomorrow Sunday.

The OctaHarp is Released

The first of my new TwinDiatonic harmonica series, the Octaharp, is now out and ready to order. Re: Chromabender x-reed setup question (PC tuning)

The ChromaBender reedplates are designed for Solo tuning. To adapt for PowerChromatic you need to reverse the reed direction of the X-Reed in holes 4/8/12 to match the other X-Reeds. Remove the reed and reinsert on the other side of the reedplate, then retune to the desired pitch.

Re: Diatonic PowerCombs and Stealth-Valves Released

Hi Karl, yes: choose the Suzuki Stealth-Valves. You might have to trim the valve bases here and there, but they will fit my own-brand PowerBender and PowerDraw harps.

I also make them for the PowerBender and PowerDraw Lucky 13, though they fit best on my Lucky 13 PowerComb.

Re: Discontinued

The ChromaBender was discontinued due to problems with the maker, Hering. They have been taken over by new management and communication, always difficult, became too tiresome to deal with. Eventually the hassle factor outweighed everything else and it was simply easier to cease dealing with the comp...

Re: Exotic Harps, Spare Parts, No Longer made Harps

Easier and faster to assemble. You can replaced welded reeds without a drill press if you're careful with a regular drill. Reeds can even be attached with Superglue if you don't like drills and screws.
