Re: NEW HARPS: Lucky 13 in Solo and PowerChromatic Tunings
However, i have not looked at Lucky 13 yet to compare it with Soloist pro regarding blow/draw pattern. OOTB the LKY13PC is going to start with the one hole blow in the stamped key. On the Lucky 13, if you take the G major (PC) and lower the E, F#, G, and A to D, E, F, and G, you will have a C tuned...

@Lizzy.
Did you get you PC in the key of C?
I tuned my G to C weekend before last, as I wanted to play to take licks I casually play on a all C powerbender octaves and dupe them to the PC pattern. It has proven to be a great way to learn the way around the PC.

Re: Lucky 13 powerchromatic vs Seydel Soloist pro 12
What do i lose in the powerchromatic tuning if i use Seydel soloist pro 12 hole powerchromatic compaired to Lucky 13 powerchromatic ? I think really just one hole, since you can select the layout on Seydel generator. If your question is more related to application of playing, then it will depend on...

Re: NEW HARPS: Lucky 13 in Solo and PowerChromatic Tunings
@DanPa Which one did you pull the trigger on? G or D. I am about to order another to tune it to C. I hope these continue to catch on. An Ab (if they ever make other keys) is on my Christmas list for sure. On a "getting to know the harp note:" If you went with the G harp, check out this track: https:...

"if you keep the appropriate sized dab of Blu-tack on the reed head or reedplate next to the reed."
@Brendan,
What did you mean by putting it on the reedplate next to the reed? I have just put it on the reed in the past? Am I missing an application. I didn't catch it from the posting.

Re: NEW HARPS: Lucky 13 in Solo and PowerChromatic Tunings
@DanPa FYI on your question re the keys. I find it a bit easier to play in the key C on the G tuned LKY13PC. (of course this may depend on what you are playing) Starting in C, which is 3 hole blow, you have the C Lydian in the natural breath pattern of the harp. Your only challenge (in the event you...

Re: NEW HARPS: Lucky 13 in Solo and PowerChromatic Tunings
I am right that in power chromatic the bends are what you call a half step on a standard richter diatonic? Response: Yes. For every octave, with power chromatic you get 8 notes plus 4 with bends compared to 8 plus 2 on solo tunning - is that right? If yes, with power chromatic you only lose 1 of th...

Re: NEW HARPS: Lucky 13 in Solo and PowerChromatic Tunings
My Lucky 13s PowerChromatics in the keys of G and D just hit the mailbox this morning. Just a couple of weeks from ordering. Not bad timing for a package from China to Beaumont, Texas. These harps are great. I have yet to be disappointed with anything from Easttop. The fit and finish on the new mode...

Multi Key Tracks
I use the Brendan's Powerbender book CD quite often for the backing tracks. One of the tracks (I believe in the 79-80 range) has all the keys in the book and cycles through them. It is great practice. Does anyone know of a similar track where individual key has a few more measures before it changes ...
