Re: Ideas for changing a diatonic harp tuning on the fly
... I would need 11 more switchharps :-) I fear you will not escape this as long as you stick to diatonics - of which variant ever. ... Seydel ... "All Minor" ... One good news is that this concept proves magnetically dropping draw reed pitch is possible :) I also see why they attached the ma...

Re: Ideas for changing a diatonic harp tuning on the fly
However it has some issues: it currently can only affect the blow reeds, and for the smaller reeds if you try to adjust the magnet to get lower than a semitone it gets very unstable. Experimenting with dropping 7 or 8 blow by more than a semitone caused a very unstable note. its odd: the note slowl...

Re: 3d Printed comb ideas to improve responsiveness
Nicely done! Here my thoughts about some details: A couple of diatonic combs differ from the norm with claimed sound benefits: the Sjoberg comb (now made by Joel Andersson), and the French Arkia model, with chambers that supposedly enhance overbends: https://en.arkia-harmonica.com/ They might inspir...

Re: Converting an EastTop T10-40 to an "XB-40" style harmonica
Looks just as if Brendan's Slip Slider technique could be a good try for your idea? And the Suzuki Sub-30 is featuring some kind of a similar technique as the XB-40, as far as I remember. dear greetings triona edit: an error about the Suzuki Sub-30 deleted. I had mixed it up with the Suzuki MR-300 O...

Re: Introduce yourself
Thank you. I missed that the Will Wilde Rock Tuning is repeating the "Richter-note-duplication" of 2d=3b in holes 6d=7b. Considering this your alteration to Will Wilde on 7b as well makes sense. Maybe I should have a try on this, because I like to play Paddy Richter as well as Will Wilde Rock tuning...

Re: Resin 3d printing reedplates
As far as it is concerning the technical questions, you confirmed my suspicions largely. I just would be doubtful about that: Is the material food safe? From a quick search, apparently not. Since recently whole recorders are entirely printed 3D with resin - including the mouthpiece, which is always ...

Re: Double Paddy?
Thank you. Makes sense to me and time to buy a few Lucky 13’s Paddy Richter tuning. There are exactly 3. :D But if you are a hard and heavy player you maybe should buy 2 in the key of G, if you want to save cost of shipment in the future. I have all 3. They are nice instruments, have good response,...

Re: Double Paddy?
I guess it is the regular Lucky13 Paddy. It repeats hole 1-3 of the default 10/20 model an octave below.
