Chromonica Restoration Advice
Came into possession of an old 64. Needs some love. I don't think there are power combs for it, but any other advice on restoring it appreciated!
Reeds look good but I haven't popped it open yet.

Re: Placement of "extra" notes?
Low end. I prefer the lower notes, generally. Tongue block opportunities, better cords. And depending on breath pattern.

Re: reviews of Brendan's harmonicas
The increased competition in the harmonica market coming from China is good for us players and for raising harmonica quality overall. I don't see any down side. This is very true. The quality of harmonicas goes way down when there's no competition. Hohner had famously poor harps for a bit. Once Lee...

Hey Brendan, have you played around with comb thickness for the stacked harps? Custom Combs might allow you to shrink the height, but I've not tested the sound differences or playability of comb thickness.

Octaves, low octave vamping, etc. It's when you play the middle octave with tongue blocking accompaniment that things get funny. 5 blow is now the root of the V chord in crossharp, but holes 1-4...

Chrometta Mouthpiece
Anyone know of a solution to the awful chrometta mouthpiece? Thinking of a different harp's that could be bolted on, or maybe a 3D printed alternative. Those big square holes are no fun compared to an scx.

Re: Power Chromatic
Brendan, Just for my clarification... In your excellent report on half-valving here, http://www.slidemeister.com/forums/index.php?topic=1357.0 You say that removing the 2 4 6 8 10 12 valves does not offer more bends due to the semitone relationship in those holes. If I do the retuning like the PC d...
