Re: Chromatic with Offset Tonics (COT) as applied to PowerChromatic

It would be, starting on hole #2:

Re: The SlipSlider MK3 is Released

Demo of full 3 octave chromatic scales on a standard Richter diatonic harp with blow and draw bends alone... Nothing is lost: overblows/overdraws are still available.

The SlipSlider MK3 is Released

The evolution of an original idea from Zombor Kovacs (with some inspiration from Joel Andersson and great help from Andre Coelho), the SlipSlider MK3 is the culmination of years of thought and experimentation. It retains all the great qualities of the traditional Richter harmonica whilst endowing it...

Re: MODULAR-REED HARMONICA - Released!

Whew, lots of detailed points on the Modular-Reed Harmonica there Triona! Thanks for your observations. I'll try and address the points here: ADHESIVE GASKET It's only meant to have a light tack to stop reeds falling out when the harp is disassembled. Even if the adhesion gets less with multiple ree...

Re: Strategically Draw-Bending Slide Richter

Yes, thinking of a slide harmonica in this way offers a player lots of expressive options. If the slide-out scale is Richter (as in your example) and the slide-in scale is determined from the point of view of giving extra bends, it could be configured in many different ways. Re: MODULAR-REED HARMONICA - Released!

Hi Sachlaw, Thank for allowing us to use your review. Actually it's a custom XB40 in Paddy-Extended on that track. The bends wouldn't be possible with a normal 20 reed harp, including the Modular Reed. I'm currently working on various new X-Reed harp designs for my own use. If I find something good ...

Re: MODULAR-REED HARMONICA - Released!

Hi Rishio,

We have Paddy-Richter Extended. This is the same as ED Tuning but starts one hole to the right. I've used it for a long time, and recorded with it on some tracks of "New Chinese Harmonica". For example, Track 1:

Re: Battery powered multi effects units

I've been using the Korg Pandora PX5D for a long time, which is pretty much the same as the Mini. I like it!
