Asiabend

HI

I purchased your Asia Bender a while back and it arrived today.. Beautiful harp and sound is awesome.

Just one thing wrong , and not your fault for sure. I can not play it. I run out of wind.

It bends really really well , Asian tunes I play on my Chinese 2 string violin Erhu come easy on this Asiabend

Being 73 years old and smoked since was 11 that should pretty much say it all

What can I do and parts I would need to put it to a regular 12 hole Chrome.

If this is not possible I will have to get rid of it or have it altered..

I send you email couple days ago but not heard from you. Figure your a busy guy.
So I put the question to you here.

Just plan your playing to have small gaps where you can expel your breath. Use your stomach muscles to 'cough' out the air. You can get rid of all of it in a split second. It takes a little practice but after a while becomes intuitive.

The AsiaBend is the opposite of wind instruments like saxophone, where players use small gaps to take in breath, but the same principle.

Hi..
Yes ok will do all that.. thought about quitting smoking but at my age its too late.

I have found all the notes and quite the setup you invented. I really like the idea of what you have invented.

But

If it does not work out can I put it back to a regular C chrome? Elaborate if you can or send me an email if there is secret formula.. ;-)

tnx Brendan

No secret formula, just LOTS of retuning and then sticking on about 46 valves.... Not worth the effort.
