HELLO:

I'm new to the forum. Still finding my way around the site. This looks like a good spot to visit re all things harp.

I have been playing for several years but only in the last few years have I become more serious. Played in bands for 8 years . ( audiences seemed to love the harp-perhaps because it is something new for a lot of people.)

I recently had the opportunity to play with a great Canadian harp player and singer Jerome Godboo at an open mic which he hosted. At one point we were trading licks on the stage. (thought I'd died and gone to heaven.)! Afterwords he told me about the power-bender and soon I purchased one - a Sydel in the key of A. Now I want to learn to play it!. I know that Brendan has an instruction book and CDs but it was not clear to me whether it was available without buying his power harps.

I'm hoping that Brendan or somebody else on the forum can clear this up for me.

Regards,
harpguy (Mike)

That page has an option for the book only.
A lot of Brendan's Power Chromatic licks from his recordings also transfers over nicely to the PowerBender harps, as the middle octave is identical to a PC harp.
Anyways, Have Fun!
