Hello all.

Its a nice forum here. Image
Thanks to Brendan and his helpers to make it.
Its fine, because there are not too many informations outside in the web about harmonicas which diverge from the usual, including the fine novelties of Brendan.

Here a suggestion to improve maybe:
A new section of the forum (sub-forum) where new users can introduce themselves with features like age, location, their likes, favourites, music style and genre, instruments they play, links to publications with their music like videos, sound files etc. By the way - as far as the forum ist quite new, we all here are new users. :D Some of them I already have heard about, most of them are new to me.

Another question:
Is it favoured or disliked to set links here to other own posts with relevant content, which are already published in other forums than this one here - be it in English or in other languages? Translations into English could be delivered when there is shown a wider interest in the respective subject that makes the work of translation worthwhile.

dear greez
and happy easter holidays to all

Hi Triona, thanks for your suggestion of an easy introductory board. Initially we did have many boards but now just trying to keep them down to two. But if you want to start a thread on one of the boards called "Introducing Ourselves/Myself" or similar, please feel free. Others can add to it if they wish.

Re. Outside links, no problem to add them as you wish. This is an easygoing space without lots of does and don'ts :-)

There's a good candidate post on the other board called "hello" - we could use that and I will rename it to make it more obvious.

Thank you. Done.

Maybe there will be the one or the other more, who might be inspired to leave there some lines. In some discussions it is sometimes useful to know with which background anyone writes something. And it is no must anyway. For data security's sake it is neither adviced to post too many personal details, at least not more than the web knows anyway. Must anyone know for him- or herself.

Hi all,
and specially a question to the administration of this forum:

Does the new privacy regulation of the EC concern this forum too?

On one hand, the UK is not any more member of the EC, at least within a short time.
On the other hand,
1. the forum does offer content to users in the EC,
2. there might remain a lot of connections of all kind - economically and legally - between the EU and the UK in the future, which may imply the application of some regulations of the EU in the UK in the future as well. (Just have a look on Switzerland.)

In Germany and some other states of the EU has started a big dying of privately operated forums by the 25th of May 2018, due to the new privacy regulations. This is concerning non profit forums and websites even more than comercially operated ones, because the former have less economical refunds, for instance to pay for attorneys to make a forum proof to the new regulation.

Hey there - this is sort of a retro question -but some time ago (a year?) I saw Brendan had introduced the Lucky 13 as an MK2 model with enhancements. This pre-dates the multiple tuning models now available. Question: Are the Lucky 13 chops ALL MK2 now on the advertised websites? I'm buying about 6 PowerDraws on AliExpress but before pulling the trigger I'm looking for reassurance. -Jim Stockdale
