Hello,
I have a Powerbender A harp with a dead reed. Could anybody tell me the tools I need to replace it?
Thanks in advance.

Mat

You dont mention the brand on your harmonica and also if you prefer rivet or screw to attach the new reed but here are two links, but there is also other customizers who have tools for this. Or you can make them yourself but you need to know how and how to put a new reed in.

Thanks for the reply - I have a PowerBender and it's one of Brendan's own brand harps. I thought I would replace the reed as it was before, which I think is screwed but I'm not sure. If I get a wrench I just want to make sure I get the correct size.

I dont have any experience of Brendans own brands. They could also be welded. Either way, Brendan is the only one who can tell you about replacement reeds and how to change them.

Brendans own brand harps (orange comb) are welded reeds. You will need a reed wrench, proper size drill bits, drill tap, replacement screws or self tapping screws. Either a drill press or pencil vise. AND of course, the right sized replacement reed.

Here is a step by step Brendan video on suzuki welded reeds but the steps are identical.
