Does anyone play Turkish tunes on their harmonicas?
I would think some might play well. Their scales are a bit different, but with bending we should be able to do some justice to some of the simpler instrumentals and modal improvisations.
Maybe on the Asia bend, or on a modified switch harp?

Some friends in Istanbul played me a couple of YouTube videos by an older Turkish chromatic harmonica player, whose name escapes me. Will come back to you when I can track him down.

He played reversed slide style I think, like many Indian chrom players.
