Books PLAY IRISH MUSIC ON THE CHROMATIC HARMONICA

There are two instruction books
PLAY IRISH MUSIC ON THE - KEY C - CHROMATIC HARMONICA
and
PLAY IRISH MUSIC ON THE G/D CHROMATIC HARMONICA

http://brendan-power.com/instruction.php

Are there any fundamental differences between the two versions within the basic text?
Or are there only different sheets and tabs and soundtracks?

At the moment I play different chromatics in C and G. There will come one in D at least some time. Furthermore I play solo tuned 12-hole double diatonics with slide in G + D (your Irish Session Harp and Seydel Sampler).

Does it make sense to order both books?
Or is it just the same, and only necessary to transpose the sheet / tabs?
And what about the CD?

Hello Brendan,

welcome back to the Old World again.
I hope you had a nice time at the Mississippi, and good business success too.

This post is just to bring this up again, that it might not be overlooked. The answer cannot be that difficult. And I would like to order the one or the other soon.

Sorry for the slow reply Triona!

The books are identical except for the keys of the harmonicas. I recommend the G/D book because those keys are the correct ones for playing with other Irish musicians, but for C-only chrom players the C book is best.
