Brendan - As much of a burden as it may be, is there a notification email list that can be triggered when the alternative tunings in Lucky 13 are ready for either limited or general sale? I have no problem checking back and "watching this space" - but if there is a way to notify those of us who are genuinely anticipating the release by email, that would be great. If there is a sign-up, please let me (and others) know. I know this can be a clerical pain in the neck - but it would help...
Thanks.

Good news: I finally have a delivery date for the special-tuned Lucky 13s in PowerBender, PowerDraw and Paddy Richter. It's 6th July to my business partner Roland in Shanghai, so we can start shipping in July.

I've shot the intro video on my travels in California, just editing it now, and done the website text. A draft page will be up tomorrow and we should announce the harps this weekend, along with links for pre-ordering.

Thanks, Brendan! That sounds great and we WILL 'watch this space.' Am assuming the links to purchase will be on the Lucky 13 web page. If not, please advise...

Well. I've finally had the joy, experience, um, whatever you want to call it, of doing several Pre Release re tunings of the Lucky 13 to both Double Paddy Richter and several keys of Power Benders, conversions (Manually). Most customers who contacted me, (especially for Power Bender) took me up on my suggestion of waiting for the new factory setup PB or Paddy tuned harps. I have one fellow who combines both the Paddy tuning, and Power Bender!! Wrap your head around that! I did a full keyed set of Suzuki Promasters for him in this tuning. Not sure what to call it, maybe "PowerPaddyBender", or
Double PaddyPowerBender. But you get the idea.

One player who contacted me had already bought a few keys of Lucky 13's in standard Richter tuning and did not want to have to buy a second set in Power bender tuning. The Surgery was successful~! But. .....I can elaborate some more on the various challenges that are involved if you try to undertake this as a DIY project. The Paddy conversion you can get to with some elbow grease and re-tuning of the two relevant blow notes (3 and 6) up two semitones without reed swaps. But if I have the reeds, I may just do it that way.

For my "druthers", the Powerbender tuning comes out best either with reed swaps on the upper reeds or replacements particularly for reeds that have to go "up" more than two semitones. I would recommend ordering this tuning direct from Brendan as they now seem to be shipping for insta- satisfacation.

Not that you can hear it in this pic, but my Double Paddy G was so happy, it took itself out and bought me a pint at our local pub.
Best to all my harmonica friends.-

Wait is it silver or stainless steel? Either way best sounding harp I ever tried. Thanks.
