Advantages and considerations with augmented and diminished tunings compaired to more common tunings? Usefulness in different music styles? There is much more to playing and experience different tunings then looking at a chart of the tunings.

Maybe not so many that play with those tunings but after little reserch i found enough information about diminished tuning to get a grip on it (i have also read the posts on this forum but needed more information to understand it). It sounds interesting enough to order one. Only 3 phrases to learn to cover 12 keys on a 12 hole diatonic. Of course different blow/draw patterns to get used to but i give it a try :)

I stumble on this: https://www.harmonicaacademy.com/categories/20081221 written by Brendan himself!
Blows always lower then draws which im already used to from PC, PB and is expressive if you like draw bends but because of many double draw bends (jump from one bend directly to another)in certain keys its little harder to make it flow faster like ex.PC, at least on a diatonic if your not comfortable with bending. Its quite easy to memorize all key scales because of its 3 phrase patterns but i also feel it can be easy to be repetitive because of these patterns. Even if diminished chords can be found in many music styles it seems that it is mostly used in jazz mixed with major/minor scales. Alfred Hirsch is one guy who uses this tuning on diatonic but so far i have not found that many diatonic players that use this tuning. To me it is a interesting tuning to play and i have not unlocked its full potential for sure and it would be great to find more ways to use this tuning. :)
