A cupping back for easier chromatic cupping

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

Here's a test I've devised to determine whether this smaller back on a chromatic will affect volume and tone. To my ears its a subtle difference if any.

Agreed - seems like the Cupping Back is a good add-on, esp. with your rear-button chrom.
