"FiG Bob CuD" tuning for 10-hole SWITCH harp

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

"FiG Bob CuD" tuning for 10-hole SWITCH harp

Post by IaNerd » Wed Jan 31, 2018 7:50 pm

NAME: “FiG Bob CuD” tuning for 10-hole SWITCH harp

BASIC CONCEPT:
This tuning features seven FAT chordal zones, one or more for each of the following: bVII (in this case, Fmaj), I (Gmaj), bIII (Bbmaj), IV (Cmaj) and V (Dmaj). Each of these seven chordal zones includes the option of playing the major chord with or without it b7th. As far as chord-chugging goes, this tuning should be very forgiving of imprecise playing technique.

WHEN/HOW: January of 2018. I have not yet had one made.
