"Easy Backup" tuning for six-hole harp

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

"Easy Backup" tuning for six-hole harp

Post by IaNerd » Fri Aug 11, 2017 7:27 pm

NAME: Byrnes "Easy Backup" Six

BASIC CONCEPT: A small harp to carry around and reach for when you want to back up some blues/rock/pop but not do big, soaring solos.

WHEN/HOW: 2015?

LAYOUT:

Image

DETAILS: This is a more sophisticated version of my "Chord Buddy" for Big Six, because its tones are more carefully arranged for some draw-bends and some 4-tone chords.

The tuning in this Subject can be either of the two Seydel Big Sixes mounted on Brendan's Seydel Twin Big-Six Comb (at http://www.brendan-power.com/combs-diatonic.php ).
