links to lyrics and notes in the www

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

Maybe the one or the other might apprechiate this.
Anyone might continue this list.
(For example there is nothing about Blues. )
Those who will find dead links, might announce this, so that the list can be actualized.
Maybe this thread can be pinned on top of the index to find it easily later on.

dear greetings

Here's a new link with lots of sheet music and similar for tunes and music of all sorts. Transposable to any key. Also, has links to other similar sites.

Cheers, Karl

There is one link up there (well, 2 actually...) leading to a site http://gada.se/, which contains stuff from a band of "Gammaldans" (Swedish/Nordic for "Old Dance", ie. traditional dance tunes, usually performed on fiddle and/or accordion).

That gada.se site is extremely hard to read and follow through the links, let alone actually find anything useful. However, it contains sheet music for some traditional folk dance tunes, which could be interesting for harpists.

Therefore I scraped the site for pdf's and jpg's, threw away thousands of vacation photos and other useless stuff, and saved only the sheet music.

You can now find the results here: http://khnl.net/noter/gadanoter/

Turned out to be about 100 tunes. Hope someone will enjoy it.

The completed list with links to Lyrics, sheetmusic and tabs for different instruments in the world wide web, now as a PDF for download and saving on your own hard disk if wished:

Image

For download click the small PDF symbol to open the file. Then click "save pic / file" (f.e. with Windows7) to save the file. If it does not work on your PC, send me a PM with your email adress.

Alas the list - having become quite large meanwhile - is still randomly disorganized. With growing length the lack of overview is growing considerably. The present order is only by the date when I had added a link to the list. If I should have over plenty of free time I maybe will change this one day, and I will sort this by theme, alphabet or any other rule. But anyone else may feel free to do this instead.

I check the validity of the links every now and then and delete death links or correct mistakes. (This time it is merely an update of the last version. Older links were only checked when I called them up again by myself.) Anyone who knows links who do not appear here might fell free to add them down here, so I can add them to the list. And anyone who might find death links or mistakes can report them here, so I can correct this. Here a thank you too to those who already did this in the past.

As written in German in the header of the list:
Checked last in 24th September 2017.
If a date (ddmmyy) printed in red besides the link, it has been added or checked later.
Comments are usually in German, newly bilingual DE/EN as well

The thematic focus of this list is still international folk music and folk dance. Old Music, Classical Music, Opera, as well as Blues, Rockmusic, Pop and other contemporary still is peripheric if not contained in genre comprehensive collections. The same is with harmonica tabs and special arrangements for harmonica. Additions in all directions welcome. This is a work in progress and will be updated continuously.

I wish happy surfing and playing music to everyone :D
