I found a fix for my tilting reedplate problem:
I put a small rectangle of gorilla tape,
which is pretty slippery, just overhanging
the joystick slot and folded around it the edge.
the thickness of the tape is just enough to allow
the joystick to move freely but prevents it from
rocking to one side.
