Anyone get one yet?
Impressions or issues, or tips for assembly and playing?
I have one on order, but I was just wondering if any regular players had given it a run yet.
Brendan, Boris, and Mitch make it sound great!
But then, they could play blades of grass and sound good.

Re: The MiniChrom / SwitchHarp is Released
Hi Brendan,
Would it be possible to scale the minichrome up a bit and lengthen it so that two 260s or two Autovalve Harps would fit?
Then you could have a fully chromatic Octave Harmonica. Or a slide Diatonic Octave Harmonica.
That would be fun!

Re: Discontinued
I just finished making my own chromabender. It was a bit of work, but was not as hard as I expected. I’ve even started another! Well, actually I’m going back to my first attempt. The one I finished is in C, made from 270 reedplates. C6 tuning. It’s fun. I haven’t really played it yet but just finish...

Re: Asiabend or solo-tuned unibender?
Can you guess at a possible release date? It’s not like I need one, but I probably won’t be able to resist buying one. I can’t wait to try the minichrome too. I really appreciate that you made these so modular and it looks simple to switch the harmonicas in and out. Easy key changes, or switching fr...

Re: Exotic Harps, Spare Parts, No Longer made Harps
It wasn't my question but thanks for the answers!
Gary is a good guy and easy to deal with.
I get to tinker more than I get to play, but I enjoy it at least as much, and am better at tinkering. Making a chromabender out of an unused harp sounds like a fun project.

Re: Pocket bass extended, bass with draw reeds
That Nirvana cover was really cool!
I have an Easttop pocket bass, similar to the Tombo but has an additional pair of notes (Bb and G).
I like your idea of an extended version, maybe repeat the pattern across 2 octaves or more to allow short walks.

Re: New and Unique TWIN-DIATONIC HARPS - Demo Videos
Ok, I know I want a minichrome and have the Seydel reedplates I want to use in it. I am also curious about the x-reed-unibender. Do I use one set of reedplates tuned and gapped normally and then set them off against a set of plates a semitone Or a full tone lower with the gaps flat? Or is there some...

Nice!
I can't wait. I have some reed plates already so hopefully the mouthpiece assemblies will be available.
I know I'll want a Seydel minichrome. And a Suzuki x-reed. Maybe a Suzuki minichrome too.
Will the Suzuki models fit Easttop reed plates?

Re: Introduce yourself
Welcome aboard.
I am also a novice player and a tuning tinkerer ( and a scientist weirdly enough).
The Seydel configurator is great fun, but these days I play more with solder and files when experimenting.

reeds are listed under accessories

And don't be embarrassed
The first time I opened up a harmonica I broke a reed.
Maybe two.
Probably everyone does that.
