Re: Table of reedplate dimensions?

Interesting question. I could measure a few reedplates I have at home and post here when I have the time. Would be interesting to see which are interchangable.

Cheers, Karl

Re: links to lyrics and notes in the www

There is one link up there (well, 2 actually...) leading to a site http://gada.se/, which contains stuff from a band of "Gammaldans" (Swedish/Nordic for "Old Dance", ie. traditional dance tunes, usually performed on fiddle and/or accordion). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gammaldans) That gada.se si...

Re: Slide for "tongue block" effect?

I don't quite get what you're after. Could you give one or more examples of what you would like to achieve?

I ask because I mostly play with tongue-blocking.

Re: links to lyrics and notes in the www

Here's a new link with lots of sheet music and similar for tunes and music of all sorts. Transposable to any key. Also, has links to other similar sites.

Re: Diatonic PowerCombs and Stealth-Valves Released

Thanks for your info, Brendan.

Now I wonder: which valve kit would be optimal for other popular 10-hole diatonics?

Especially the Easttop models of T008S and T008K are of interest for me.

I'm asking because I just ordered some for trying out and comparison.

Re: Currently available paddy richter harmonica

I just retuned one of my old regular Richter harps to Paddy tuning, just to feel if it was for me. Yes, it is! A very nice experience to play, especially some old Swedish traditional songs in aeolan minor. So, here are my questions. If I order the "PLAY IRISH MUSIC ON THE BLUES HARP" book, there's a...

Re: Diatonic PowerCombs and Stealth-Valves Released

I would like to buy several valve kits for my Hohner SP20's. Are the Hohner 10-hole the best fit? Seems like a stupid question, but I want to be sure before I order, so I don't waste my money... Side-questions: Which kit would have the longest valves among the 10-hole valve kits: Hohner or Suzuki? W...

Re: Diatonic PowerCombs and Stealth-Valves Released

Brendan, I just got my order of stealth-valves "Suzuki 10 Hole" that I ordered for my new Power Bender. Haven't installed it yet, just sort of prepared for it, by searching correct tools and the like. So, I compared the valves with the sizes and spaces of the slots in not only the Power Bender, but ...
