Re: slide-harp plus "diatonic" harp?

Oh, I see now that you meant the Educator 1. I was unaware of that model. It looks like an Airstream trailer.

I own an Educator. It was an education in how to lose $60. Thanks for the reply. :)

Blue Moon combs

On the Slidemeister forum someone asked if Blue Moon combs are compatible with Brendan's Twin Harp system. I tried two Blue Moon combs on a 10-hole Twin Harp front piece.  One comb is aluminum and the other is brass.  They do NOT fit the Twin Harp, because the walls of their lips are thicker.  One m...

slide-harp plus "diatonic" harp?

Brendan-- Do you suppose that the hole-spacing of some "slide/chrom" harp is close enough to that of some "non-slide/diatonic" harp that the two could be joined into a Twin system? An example would be a chrom of any chrom-ish tuning wed to a circular-tuned diatonic, for all of its dyads, triads and ...

Re: "Dirt Simple" blues tuning for 12-hole Switch Harp

Re: "Dirt Simple" blues tuning for 12-hole Switch Harp

At this time (December 2017) Brendan does not offer a non-reentrant 12-hole Switch Harp system. As a get-by, the essence of this tuning could be had with currently available materials by the elimination of channels 4 and 5. I haven't yet tried to load that 10-hole tuning into Seydel's configurator. ...

An arguably better "Backpack" for Richter tuning can be seen in the topic entitled "PowerBender/PowerDraw's "Backpack" ... for Twin-Harp system".

Re: PowerBender/PowerDraw's "Backpack" ... for Twin-Harp system

A big part of the "Richter magic" lies in the ability to chug-chug away on those lovely I and IV cords in the low octave, i.e. chambers 1-4. No wonder that this critical part of the original Richter tuning is retained in both PowerDraw and PowerBender. Please note that in this "Backpack" tuning, tho...
