Re: The SlipSlider - a Revolutionary Blues Harp. It's Weird, but it Works!

I am not worried about the seal but it would be interesting to se how much wear the teflon can take before it loses its smoothness. No worries about it but there would be a big difference between 1000/10000 strokes. :D

It would be great if you can design to session steel. However if it dont work im open to Seydel 1847 which is more similar to Hohner. But it wold take a while (money) to shift my arsenal of session steel to 1847.

I agree...and Unibender and Slipslider have different advantages. Thats the reason i want to try both. And i am also producing to much saliva. And when the valves begin to stick it get worse for each day.

Re: The SlipSlider - a Revolutionary Blues Harp. It's Weird, but it Works!

The more I think about it the cooler this new idea seems. A bit off topic, but what are you doing in Turkey? Are you playing Turkish music? Any cool new designs or tunings? I bet you could do well with your all draw harp playing Ney style tunes. If you put a PaddyRast tuning in a SlipSlider you sho...

Re: The SlipSlider - a Revolutionary Blues Harp. It's Weird, but it Works!

Only 1 blowbend missing...lol This is the reason i like the idea with Slipslider...full chromaticism without the need of two harmonicas like switchharp, no tedious customizing, no Helmholtz resonance coupling, no need to use sticking valves. I only have to try it out and get used to the action befor...

Re: NEW PRODUCT: The SlipSlider. A Revolutionary Blues Harp: It's Weird, but it Works!

I think its a great invention and interesting idea in a lot of ways. I just have to wait for a Seydel version though. :) Any idea when a Seydel version is available?
This is my second item on my waiting list.
