"Neck Rack" tuning for 13-hole harp
NAME: "Neck Rack" tuning for 13-hole harp BASIC CONCEPT: This tuning is designed especially for folks who play harp in a neck rack. There are three FAT chordal zones, one each for the I, IV and V chords--and also their b7ths! As far as chord-chugging goes, this tuning should be very forgiving of im...

"FiG Bob CuD" tuning for 10-hole harp
NAME: "FiG Bob CuD" tuning for 10-hole harp BASIC CONCEPT: Recently I have felt the need for five particular chords in a lot of blues/pop/rock tunes. From low voicing to high, they are: bVII (in this example, Fmaj), I (Gmaj), bIII (Bbmaj), IV (Cmaj) and V (Dmaj). I also managed to give four of thes...

Research suggests that, among popular songs in the Western world, the most-used accidentals are F# and C#. I added a C# to the Tombo. WHEN/HOW:...

Oh, I see now that you meant the Educator 1. I was unaware of that model. It looks like an Airstream trailer.

Blue Moon combs
On the Slidemeister forum someone asked if Blue Moon combs are compatible with Brendan's Twin Harp system. I tried two Blue Moon combs on a 10-hole Twin Harp front piece. One comb is aluminum and the other is brass. They do NOT fit the Twin Harp, because the walls of their lips are thicker. One m...

slide-harp plus "diatonic" harp?
Brendan-- Do you suppose that the hole-spacing of some "slide/chrom" harp is close enough to that of some "non-slide/diatonic" harp that the two could be joined into a Twin system? An example would be a chrom of any chrom-ish tuning wed to a circular-tuned diatonic, for all of its dyads, triads and ...

Re: "Dirt Simple" blues tuning for 12-hole Switch Harp
I wonder if this 12-hole tuning is feasible in a properly valved slide "chromatic" harp such as the DeLuxe or DeLuxe Steele. My comprehension of valving is poor, so I invite your thoughts.

Re: "Dirt Simple" blues tuning for 12-hole Switch Harp
At this time (December 2017) Brendan does not offer a non-reentrant 12-hole Switch Harp system. As a get-by, the essence of this tuning could be had with currently available materials by the elimination of channels 4 and 5.
