They are selling pretty well thanks Slava And yes, they are perfect for blues style bending with half-valving, as you can see in this video by Boris Plotnikov:

Re: Switch-Harp store issue
I just checked and all is working.
For Special 20, choose the "Hohner Lipped Comb" option and you can buy just the front unit. Nothing else will be selected.

Re: Seydel Saxony

Re: Unibender
Maybe... My trouble is that I have too many designs I'm working on and tend to get completely focussed on the latest one. It's hard to break off from the buzz of the new to do the necessary final tweaks on earlier ones to get them out there. To launch something for sale also involves working out ord...

Re: Question about length of chamber
Correct - lengthening the chamber will detune the reed, and eventually stop it sounding altogether.

Re: Slide for "tongue block" effect?
My new OctaHarp Selectable could be configured in a way to give desired extra notes that kick in with a slide push. It's intended for octave play but the rear harp could be a fifth below, for example. Or you could go to a lot of trouble and tune the rear harp so it gave a variety of intervals depend...

Yes, as long as the draw reeds face in and the blow reeds face away. Some earlier models had the opposite arrangement.

Re: Irish/Folk tuning
Both ways work Slava. Probably more Irish chrom players play reversed slide style, where the note goes down a semitone, known as the Eddie Clarke style after the man who pioneered it.
