Re: Notation Software with Harmonica Plugins - Recommendations wanted

Maybe I did not catch the question all right. But it was not meant as a joke at all. It was an answer to this part of the question, as far as I had understood it: How can I bring notation into a digitally reproducable form the easiest, fastest and cheapest way? As I learned by your diligent a...

Re: Notation Software with Harmonica Plugins - Recommendations wanted

... I have some nice PDFs, but I'm not sure how to upload them in a convenient way for you to see. It can easily be done like any odd picture: 1. Make an upload to a picture host that allows PDF as a format. (e.g. picr.de) 2. Link the code here. Sample: https://thumbs.picr.de/34575618wd.jpg click t...

Re: Spanish tuning

This one looks fine. Thank you. I think I will try it soon. Option 1 is to prefer in my eyes. Just the rising of 9d from F to B and 10d from A to D# is a harsh step of 7 halftones. It is to hope that this will not weaken the reeds over their capability. Option 2 covers all notes of each chord too, b...

Re: Spanish tuning

Hi R!Bo (is that your name?), as far as I know Hohner is not producing this tuning any more. (I bought it about the year of 1982 or so. And they told me then that were a prototype or a special edition or anything alike.) But you can order it by the Seydel configurator if you do not want to retune so...

Re: Lucky 13 in Matural Minor

I seem to remember Seydell and Lee Oscar have different designations of natural Minor So one is 5 steps up from the other so if I am correct the E natural minor Lee Oscar would sound the same as the A natural minor Seydell if that makes any sence. That seems true. I once ordered an Am from Seydel t...

recently heard

I don't know, if there is any thread like this already. If not, then just for a start. To share fine music that fits in here. Maybe the one or the other opens a little discussion - be it about the music and the artist(s), or be it about the instruments used. Anyway, if not so, just enjoy the music. ...

Re: Health concerns regarding materials in harmonicas?

There are some quite interesting points. Reminds me on the discussion about the case of letal lung disease by playing fungus infected bagpipes some years ago, most propably caused by poor maintenance and hygienics of the instrument.
