I'm really looking forward to see them! :D
Me too ... and to play and hear them. :D

I cancelled the idea with the visit - to far off the route.
And if Joel is in Norrköping anyway, so we all can talk together there.

dear greetings

I had a few Accordion-reed prototypes at Harpmeet, and it was good to get feedback from Edvin, Triona and others who tried them. The overall impression was positive, which was encouraging. This week I'm working on various improvements:

1. Enlarging the chambers to 'open out' the sound

2. Swapping the standard accordion valves for ones better suited for moisture-laden human breath

3. Simplifying the reed attachment process from screws to press-fit, hopefully.

Once these diatonic improvements are tested, I want to try making a blow/draw bass chromatic with accordion reeds. I did some design work for it already at the festival, will order some reeds and give it a go in various configurations to see what works best. The aim is to make a chromatic bass harmonica that's really loud, so it can be played with other harps in jams.
