It’s now 20 years since Brendan wrote his instructional book “Play Irish Music on the Blues Harp”. It’s been acclaimed in the many positive feedback comments on the webpage as probably the best learning package for Irish harmonica – but now we’re making it even better!

We’ve recorded a series of videos to give extra in-depth visual and verbal assistance to players learning the lessons. Now you can actually see Brendan demonstrating crucial techniques like tongue triplets, jaw flick triplets, grace notes etc, explaining and showing you exactly what he's doing! Being able to see and hear the techniques in action at the same time makes them much easier to learn quickly without going in the wrong direction and getting discouraged.

The instructional videos are tailored to different levels, from beginner to expert. You can choose the whole set of videos so far, or just select the ones you want. There are five videos in this first release, priced individually at $6.50, or you can buy the series for $25. *** But if you buy the whole series before the end of March the price will be only $17. ***

For those who have not bought the book yet, we are currently offering both the book and the book/harp packages at discounted prices:

I tried to watch the trailer video. It was not possible. The video stopped constantly after some seconds before it continued for some seconds again and so on. So the playing was all cut into little pieces.
1. Is the video's rate of data too high for my computer or for my connection?
2. Is this the same with the instructional videos?

Or is this maybe due to some temporary disturbance caused by overload of the world wide web because of corona?

Could you please try again today Triona?

The videos stream fine for me and Vimeo hasn't reported any issues.

Hi Triona,

Hopefully the Vimeo site is working for you now, but in the meantime you can also watch the trailer video on YouTube:

Sorry, vimeo does not yet run on my equipment, neither last night, nor just now. But I had unclear problems with vimeo videos for several times in the past. Maybe these require too much resources or anything else that my computer does not have (like any sophisticated new software or alike). I don't know.

But thank you for the youtube link. There I could watch the trailer. It looks like maybe these tutorial could be useful for me. How is it supplied? Are the videos only to watch online on vimeo? Then they maybe would not be useful for me. Or are they for download, to watch offline from the hard disk drive of one's own computer, or maybe to burn a DVD from the files? In this case your offer might be interesting for me.

Hi Triona,

The videos are only for streaming on Vimeo, not download. Do you have a smartphone? That should play the Vimeo videos OK.

No.
I have a laptop with MSWindows7 and Google Chrome. (Maybe you have seen it. I had it with me in Norrköping.) I am definitely not able to change anything on this machine, because the next thing would be, that there will not run anything any more. If any of the videos will run like the trailer, there is no use for me. Maybe better times will come any day. :D

thanks and greetings
