Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

I am a beginner at fine-tuning and re-tuning reeds. I started by trying various scratching tools. Then I had better success with sanding detailer sticks.
Yesterday I tried this:
in a rotary tool set to about 10-15k rpm. The "green bullets" (ha!) are rubber, and impregnated with some kind of fine grit particles. It was much faster, easier and (I think) better than other methods I have tried.
I think it's best to hold the bit perpendicular to the length of the reed, with the bit's rotation "pulling" the reed away from its point of attachment (as opposed to "pushing" it).
