The tremolo is the most commonly used harmonica in Asia. The Asian tremolos have a "dry" tuning, where reed pairs are tuned closely together, in contrast to their European cousins, which generally have a much "wetter" tuning. Tombo, the Japanese company responsible for the Lee Oskar model, are the leading Asian tremolo harmonica manufacturer.
Seydel have now thrown their hat into the ring, releasing a high quality Asian style tremolo harmonica, with stainless steel reeds. It's called the Skydiver, the Tony Eyers Trio use it here for the tune "Mominette"
