alphorn sounds across the valley

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

alphorn sounds across the valley

One more off-topic about a beautiful wind instrument, which maybe might be appreciated in those quarantine times:

The range under the given local geographic conditions is about 3 km (~ 2 miles) - without any amplification. :D
In the Alpes it can be significantly more some times.

Btw: The poeple in this video are slightly speaking in the dialect which is my mother tongue. (Yes, they heavily try to speak Standard German for the TV. ) They talk about the fact, that they cannot localize, where the sound comes from.

stay healthy all of ye
dear greetings
