Re-tuning from Solo to "inverted" Dorian (with chords!)

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

Re-tuning from Solo to "inverted" Dorian (with chords!)

What the title says.

This is an extension of earlier ideas at viewtopic.php?f=9&t=791#p3463.

Long time no see, nice to have you back! :)

Your inverted Dorian (except for the chord-y bottom octave) seems to coincide with what is often called "Classical tuning" for chromatics. It does make more sense than Solo in many ways..

It's discussed in "a lot" (to be an alternate harmonica tuning..) of places! Here are two:

Edwin, what an excellent teacher you are! I thank you for that.

Consider the image below. A saxophonist? A woman's face?

In the re-tuning of the original post, I was so focused on the "first position Dorian D" that I did not consider the "Classical tuning" in first position C -- which would put the Dorian D into its third position.

With this in mind, I offer the re-tuning below, which is exactly the same except now presented in terms of "Classical" first position.

So as to round out Edvin's observation, here is the same re-tuning as above but not so "chord-y".

Readers may wish to compare the Lucky 13 re-tunings above with those shown here:
