They have some rests of several parts for several models on stock. If the last one is sold out, they are finished. No new ones any more.

Thanks for sharing the idea. In this case this is not possible, because the stub of the broken slide has remained in the knob, and quite difficult to remove - if ever possible at all. But I will keep this in mind. If the knob just got loose from the (unbroken) slide, this possibly might work better than the wooden wedges.
