Compressed Hohner Slide Harp

I've been messing around with my Hohner 260 and Koch 10 hole chromatic. I saw Brendon's video on the integrated slider mouthpiece, and he mentioned that he did some work to reduce the height of the comb.
I'm interested in this as a next step in my experiments with Richter-tuned chromatics.
I imagine the way Brendon did it would be something like this: each air chamber has a conical triangle shape, and each subsequent chamber is upside-down in comparison to the ones on either side. The reedplate would need to be offset somewhat to make this work well.
I'm curious, Brendon, how it turned out? Did this configuration have any impact on the tone or playability? I plan to recreate this, it would be great to hear any lessons learned.
