Review of Three New Chinese Chromatics

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

Does the Kongsheng have the zig-zag layout like the Hohner CX-12, or does it have a straight layout like Hohner 270 or Seydel Deluxe and Saxony?

Thanks for the info.
I hoped it would be not like this. The modularity of the model's idea with easy change of the reedplates and comb unit would be more versatile then. But it is like it is. They copied the down side of the model as well.

Triona -

Let's hope -- after Kongsheng's initial development of the KB-12 -- that offering a KB-12 Mk2 (with straight tuning) would be relatively easy.
