Recently I posted here about a Richter diatonic harmonica design with staggered reedplates and a front slider. It had 13 bends (compared to 8 on a normal harp), but I hadn't seen how to add the crucial 14th bend on hole 7. I designed the harp between 2016-18. It was very promising but that missing bend made it incomplete, so I abandoned the project. I explained and demonstrated the harp in the first of my new 'Tech Tuesday' YouTube video series (see related thread).
Thanks to a clever suggestion on that thread from our friend and regular contributor Edvin Wedin, I've now been able to add the crucial missing 14th bend. YAY!!
Here's a video all about it, Tech Tuesday#5:

Edvin's solution fully completes this strange-but-effective harp with staggered reedplates. All it needs now is a good name!
All suggestions welcome, and a reward offered for the one chosen (see video for details).
STAGGERED REEDPLATES UPGRADE - Thanks Edvin!
Re: STAGGERED REEDPLATES UPGRADE - Thanks Edvin!
You’re always one step ahead Brendan.
Name? 21 reeds - 21 guns - Salute
Is it possible to chop the draw plate as well to allow for both blow & draw bends on Hole 7? I guess that would make my name suggestion obsolete

Would the name BendSeeker be suitable?
