Asiabend or solo-tuned unibender?

Hi, Brendan!

I have a question about x-reed harps, i saw your video about unibender. Can it play like an asiabend if there will be solo-tuned diatonics?

It can have the same bends, but is blow/draw instead of all-draw. The clip I play on the UniBender in the video ("Wayfaring Stranger") is in Solo tuning, with the same bends as the AsiaBend.

So does asiabend have any advantages to unibender or not? Can unibender play asian music as good as asiabend? I just dont clearly understant that moment..because if it so, than blow/draw unibender might be more comfortable?

When the UniBender is released I'll do a video showing the comparison between it and the AsiaBend. It's easier to explain that way.

I really appreciate that you made these so modular and it looks simple to switch the harmonicas in and out.

We got a big number of orders for the SwitchHarp/MiniChrom and it overwhelmed our capacity to make them quickly. We stopped orders for a short time to improve production systems.

The UniBender will be out in about two weeks when we are confident we can make and ship all the TwinDiatonics quickly. Thanks for the interest and encouragement
