Some six-hole adaptations of "Wilde Rock" tuning

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

Some six-hole adaptations of "Wilde Rock" tuning

Post by IaNerd »

Here are some of my own ideas on how to adapt "Wilde Rock" tuning, by Will Wilde, to a six-hole format. Below I show the original 10-hole version, and also three six-hole versions. All are based on the "song key" of G.

Any of the three Big Six tunings shown above might do well within Alan's "Modular Chord Harmonica".

Three of the four tunings shown above contain an Amin (ii chord) in their blow layers. I will correct those diagrams as soon as I can.
