Old style 280s

Hi
Am i correct in thinking that the old style 64 chromonica with the wood combs(brown speckled like the boxes they came in)are suitable to swap to a chromonica 3 comb?

Only if they're both of the wood comb vintage. The Chromonika III and the 280 are the same harp - *if* the vintage matches. Both switched to plastic combs and to cross tuning at the same time.
